well, I talked to Mark at TST today. He was always a nice guy to talk with in the past and this time was no different.

There was no way I could accuse him of the TST causing the problem I had. It sure may have played a part but, the fact is.... I was at the track and when you mod a truck you ARE literally on your own.

A lot of these aftermarket producers will help where they can but as with the TST most already have disclaimers stating they will only cover THEIR product if there were a problem.

This is the case.... the TST will work on some 07's built after 6/06 BUT, not all. It's not being sold for them anymore and NO ONE should try to use it on the 07's period. Some it doesn't work at all and the truck won't run and some ( like mine ) work but, not with the rail pressure. As I stated before, I never had a problem with my CR49 other than not being able to use the RP harness.

People are calling in to TST and lying, saying they have 06's when they really have 07's just to get one sold to them. Then coming back to TST wanting their engines repair. Pretty dumb if you ask me.

Anyway, Mark was nice enough to refund my purchase price without hesitation since there is a definite problem for the 07's. I'm sure that didn't have to done but, it's one reason I always liked my TST.... they do have customer service. I'll miss the little guy

Glad to hear it worked out for you.

I just hope they continue to look for a fix... And not just go on to the 6.7L.

from what it sounded like... I wouldn't hold my breath. The problems are very odd and in 7 months still haven't been figured out. Maybe one day they will. I'm pretty disappointed I won't be using it anymore. I liked that little box !

Thanks again Byron

it's coming along. I hope in another couple weeks I'll be on the road again. If you mean route as in engine build..... it's gonna be quite a performer at the track and likely some pulling.

Hey Chet. Sorry I forgot to email you back. Hey I didn't realize you were good friends with Johnny A too I'm sure you've hear all kinds of misinformation about me now ! Mark is bad enough!

Just waiting on pistons and it should be done. They went out for coating last week and should be done this coming week.

We'll be at Hayes for sure and don't worry, when the Eclipse needs towed home, the wife went and got herself a 07 CTD 5.9L QC do it for you. That is if mine isn't already on the trailer

Hopefully she'll have a little better luck. You've done all the hard knocks so you'll know what to do if she wants it. What color did she get? Actually just met Johnny a couple of months ago but seems to be a pretty cool guy. Can take as much as we can dish out U seen that house in Cashiers lately? I ended up getting reemed. Oh well it was worth it to get out.
