Limited slip not working

Ok boys, I need your opinions here. Truck is in my sig, the last week I noticed a couple times that while taking a corner or parking in snow that only the rear right tire would spin (yes its a limited slip). I have no experience with the American axle. I know on the Sterling axles and the Dana's if one tire launch's substantially faster than the other the clutch's will not lock, is it the same principle on the AA?

Thank you, Tim

No, the TracRite GT is a planetary geared differnential. Do a search on this site, there is plenty of discussion of this unit.

Take a look at your owner's manual - I think there's a section in there about the operation of it as well.

Basically you have to kinda powerbrake (that's the only way I can describe it) a little bit and the limited slip will engage. I didn't belive it'd work until I tried it, and dang it - it did work...
