I bought a really nice 05 with Cummins about 3 weeks ago.(as my name states) short box 4x4 all cromed up(door handles, box rails etc.) Got lucky as it only had about 45000 miles(68kms up here) most trucks that age up here have 80-100k miles on them. got the 5th wheel ball in it right away and have made a few trips with the flat bed and the cattle trailer once. but haven't had a load on it yet that it notices
i put the 5 cloud rider front grill guards on last week, and front mub flaps. am missing the brackets to get the rear flaps on. (i bought the heavey ones)
Dad has a 96 red Power stroke that was the main puller since 2000 till now. its a good truck too. now i don't have to drive the 1990 F150 anymore
Ive wanted a dodge diesel forever. 3 of dads freinds started with the 1st gens. two 92 3/4tons and one 93 dulley 2wd. i thought they were pretty cool. but couldn't talk dad into one those guys drove them forever(one still is) the other got a new 98 12v and now has a 07 3500 srw, and the 3rd bought a used 96 dulley with a 410 rear. and now drives an 03 2500.
Another freind of mine got a new 06 Mega cab. i was down there last month and the flywheel blew out of it at 35k miles you could shift it into gear but it wouldn't go anywhere. they said they are on a national back order and would fix it under waranty since its a big problem? (clutch waranty is only 12k miles so hes lucky!) least the dealer gave him a decent 01 24 valver for a loaner. i still think that generation of dodges are the coolest... with the loud diesel. id love to have a cherry red 02 short box quad cab. almost bought a burgandy one last year but couldnt get enough $ together my 05 is the Molten burgany(not sure of the technical name) well i better quit rambeling but lastly i wish they still said Cummins 24 V TD under the Ram3500. am tempted to get a decal and put under there. the little C up front is not very noticable.

 

That little "C" is all you need..................congrats on the new truck.

 

Yeah, the little "C" makes the GM and Ford guys squint. They usually hear my turbo before they see the "C" anyways.
