Light

Ok,
I keep getting a "check gauges" light flashing at me when I am drive under normal conditions. The owners manual says that something is too high or too low. All of the gauges are fine when this happens. Any thoughts

Thanks
Stephen

Check your codes, turn the thing to the on position and then off 3x in sucession and tell us the codes displayed in the odometer area.

Relax. '03 had an issue where the "Check Gauges" light would flash on and off whenever it felt you weren't paying attention. There is a TSB on it and you can take it to a dealer and he will flash your puter back to normal. http://dodgeram.info/tsb/2003/08-004-03.htm

Or, you can be like me and not let the dealer touch anything that really doesn't need to be touched. The flashing light doesn't hurt anything and it hasn't bothered me for the past 120k miles or so.

One thing you can do, though, is up above on this page there is a dark bar with the link "User CP" on the left end. Click that link and then the "Edit Signature" link. Put your truck in the signature once and it will come up everytime you post.
