Lift pump pressure down - at the dealer - in tank???

So i bought this truck about 2 weeks ago....everything is fine aside from some noisy injectors which the dealer said would be replaced after all the paperwork was done etc...

Dropped the truck off last night so they could diagnose/fix it and i also asked them to check the lift pump pressure.

Called them this afternoon & they said #2/#4 injectors are noisy & will be replaced. They said the lift pump isnt up to spec and they would be replacing it.

I swung by & tacked to their head diesel tech working on my truck & he said they will be putting the in-tank conversion on it.

Should i be worried??? I read before when i had my 2nd gen 24v they were a nightmare....does the saga continue?

The in-tank lift pumps are extremely reliable.

In-tank is a definite upgrade for the 03.

Enjoy your 03, and the better mileage .
