Lift Pump did not fix it!!
04 died pulling out of a parking lot on Wednesday.
Towed it to performance diesel in De Pere WI. Suspected lift pump and they confirmed there was no fuel pressure so I opted for the FASS platinum 95gph. They installed it and then called me this evening to say that it will still not start even though there is fuel pressure. They said they found some gummy build-up around the in-tank pump when they pulled it out. Any ideas on what's next??

It's my pot and I'll stir it if I want to. If you're not careful, I'll stir your's as well!

Fuel pressure where? From the new lift pump or at the injectors? Bet there is no pressure at the injectors which means you have other problems, some of which could be very expensive.
Get them to check if there is pressure at the common rail, but if they are a good shop they should know all about that.

Hope not for your wallets sake. Did they check the pressure relief valve for leakage?
Is there any diesel in the oil?

I doubt they had much time to check much since they didn't get it back together until after 4:30. Probably thinking more about the weekend. What should I ask them before letting them replace injector pump and injectors?

If they are the experts, in theory you should not need to ask them anything.
Ask about codes. If any, what are they?
Ask about oil level and/or fuel in the oil.
Ask if there is lots of fuel going to the common rail. If there is, then did they check for leakage at the pressure relief valve.
Unplug the CP3 and see if that makes any difference.
My truck died in a parking lot and it was the CP3. There was zero prior notice of pending failure. The 5 star Dodge dealer could not diagnose the problem in two days, so I had the truck towed home and very quickly figured out the problem myself and installed an overhauled CP3. Truck immediately fired right up after that.

I debated on taking it to a dealer but I am not familiar with the dealers in Green Bay and the diesel performance shop was only about two miles from where it died so my wife pulled me there with her truck to save the tow bill. It had been acting funny at start up for a week or so sputtering with a little white smoke at start up.

So they added a pump that draws through another pump? Or did they install a draw straw in the tank along with the new pump? And did you take it to them just to install the pump for you? or to help figure out the problem?
It's all going to be a diagnostics process that has to happen. By you or someone else. Way too many questions to ask, like, did they bleed all the air out? I just changed my LP and it took a bit to get all the air out. is there an air leak in the line preventing getting all the air out? Did they add a relay and new wiring to run that new pump?
Replacing an injector pump right now will be just tossing expensive parts and hoping it will be it. And an IP is too expensive to do that. If they can't figure it out, and you can't or don't want to, have it towed to a shop that can. I could be something very simple.
I've read a few comment b4 on a FASS that for some odd reason, the power has to hooked up backwards on them and they work after that.
Why did you replace the lift pump to begin with?

There is plenty of pressure at the common rail. The pressure relief valve is OK and there is no fuel in the oil. They are blocking off the injectors one at a time now to check them. Looks like it's not the IP.
