Leveling kit no level??

I put a 2inch topguncustomz leveling kit on my truck a while back and it still was not level so I went outside today and measured from the ground to the bottom of fender front and back and the front still sits 1" lower then the back... Is that normal?

I would say yes. Leveling should be used with the "air quotes". I "leveled" my truck and then towed last week. Truck looked like a F-150.

If it is that bad with the boat hooked up, my kit will be coming out in the spring. No biggie I suppose, but if you look like a darn fool while towing relatively heavy, it's not worth it in my book.

Then again, if you never tow, I've just wasted my time typing.

I think I am going to put a 2.5" levelin kit on it to get it closer to being level.. Maybe even a 3"

What kind of measurement do you get if you measure from the ground to the very bottom edge of the body front and back (right behind the front tire and right in front of the back tire). Mine "looks" like it is still nose heavy, but in actuality it measures exactly level using that method. Really depends on what YOUR EYE catches when you look at your truck, the crease that runs down the length of the truck will make it look nose heavy too.

if you're going to 3" you might need some other components (pitman arm, track bar bracket, extended links) to keep your steering geometry right, and for alignment. i needed to do those things with 3 1/2" lift.

If the back end squats with your boat on I'd go for air bags.
I'll be getting some before this year's fishing trips. When loaded my rear droops even without the front "leveled".

I'm not going to level the front till I find a set of chrome H2's with new tires, I think they look funny leveled with anything smaller than 315's.

It looks nose heavy and I don't like it.. I think Im just going to go with a 2.5" kit.. I think that will get it close enough where it looks way better!!
