Leaking core plug or freeze plug??

Leaking core plug or freeze plug??

From time to time since last April I have coolant that leaks down off the transmission housing onto the cross-member. I've checked all the freeze plugs that I could see on the sides of the engine and they look great with no corrosion on them. Just Saturday morning it leaked out quite a bit in my opinion the largest about (about 1 foot long x 1/2 a foot or less wide on my pretty flat driveway. Coolant tank was about 1/4" low so I filled it up Sunday morning. It hasn't leaked since then even after driving to and from my work which is about 15 miles one-way 4 times a day. Sometimes it will only leak maybe a couple of drips and stop for several weeks. Any ideas if that is what it is or could it be something else?? If it is a freeze plug, where is the location on the back if there is one located there.

Sounds like coolant hose clamps are loose right side rear engine just over top of turbo. 5/16 tighten the clamps down should fix it.

Yes, they tend to leak as the engine is cooling down, at least in my experience of several episodes.

I tightened it down some and I'll let you know if that did the trick in a couple of days to make sure it worked.
