Launch assist...

Or whatever it is called. The routine that senses a load and helps by adding fuel at takeoff? Pretty hard to back a trailer slowly. Saw the talk of an off road forum and I wondered if that routine was disabled when in 4 wheel drive. Could be a distraction if trying to crawl slowly.

Re:Launch assist...

Dunno mine crawls in reverse when backing in my trailer. Always on a construction site, and usually between some alley somewhere. [undecided]

Re:Launch assist...

Sure doesn't bother me backing up. In fact, I love it. One foot on clutch, one on brake. Never have to hit the accellerator. Pretty neat.

I agree it is a nice feature, I sure would not want to take it out.<br>JimO

Re:Launch assist...

Before my new new flywheel was installed it was impossible to launch smoothly in reverse towing or not. Flywheel had high spots and was warped. Now it is smooth launch. Backing the fiver up hill should be possible now. One foot on clutch, one on the brake.
