Kore 3" v/s 2.5 Coil

I want to run 35" BFG KM2. Do I run a 2.5 coil spacer and shocks or get the 3" Kore kit. Eventually I would like to run 38" or 40" BFG KM2 on a 20x12 rim. So my question is can you stack the coil spacer with say a 6" Tuff Country long arm travel kit?

I'll take a different route for a response.....How many have the Tough Country lifts 4.5" or 6"? What are the advantages w/ the 4.5" than the 6". The Kore 3" leveling kit is just as much as a 6" rough country with spacers. Should I upgrade the too the nitro, dual shocks, dual steering stabilizer, and sway bar extended hemi-joints? Most flexing my truck may see is pulling up onto curbs, no whoops here. Thinking of the uprgrades cause some that have experinced DW. Trying to prevent possible problems and need some advice from experinced ones....any takers?

You may get DW no matter what lift you install. Stay away from the BFG's. I don't want to offend anyone, just my opinion. You can research DW for yourself. I had violent DW with all of my trucks when using BFG's. Changed to Toyo's at the recommendation of a suspension manufacturer on here, and the DW went away. Basically, I was trying to buy an expensive suspension piece from him to fix it, and he told me to buy new tires instead. He lost a sale, but gained a customer for life because he was honest with me. I recommend you buy a quality kit with a good steering stabilizer and quality tires. Maybe BFG has changed how they build the sidewalls, but this is my experience with them. I would run BFG's on my wife's 4 runner that she hauls the kids around in, but not on a Dodge Diesel.

Consider a Carli or Thuren coil. My Kore's left me with a driver side 1.2" lower than the passenger side. Installer contacted Kore but no plausible response.

I'm level all around, but just unsure how the coils and shocks deteriorate over time. I believe I read on here that most or all of the coils in the "west coast" systems come from the same manufacturer. Even though my KORE coils do say KORE on the powder coating. As far as technical help goes........the only person I have spoken to that has helped me is Sage. Thats why I'm slowly upgrading to his equipment. I sure do hate to buy things twice. Hurts the pocket and pride.

I made some calls since all of my first posts and did some thinking and I came up with a solution. There is not a shortcut to lift these trucks. Whether it is 1.5" or 12", lengthen everything for a factory or better ride and buy E range tires. Short and sweet. From what I have read and people I have talked with there are two many factors that can cause DW and so therefore you have to attack the problem from every direction. Buy E load tires, adjustable trac bar or drop kit, drop sway bar with new links that allow some flex, lengthened shocks, new coils for anything over 1.5". So I think I will be looking at a Long arm travel kit with replacement coils, but I could be wrong Thanks for response though guys!

front lift

Thanks 'Laubesl' . I think you talked me out of doing to front end lift.
I always wondered if It needed to be done. I don't think so now.

I will think about a new aluminum driveshaft or whether to go with the KYB Monomax shocks instead of the blue-yellow Bilsteins.
(I have the blue-yellow Bilsteins on my wifes Beetle) I don't think they will fit the truck
Have a good one !
