2.5" coil w/ 2" Spacer???
2.5" coil w/ 2" Spacer???
Im would like to add a 2" coil spacer with my Skyjacker coils and was wondering what else i would need. I already plan on adding Some bilstiens, bumpstops, and the KORE billet drop blocks. What else would i need or would you suggest for a smooth ride ??? Thanks ahead of time!
What are the billet drop blocks? If they do not move the control arms down I would say you would need some longer link bars and a longer panhard bar or relocate the stock panhard bar.
The blocks are connected to the swaybar at the top of the pic - $110.00
"All KORE suspension systems come with patented Billet Drop Blocks. They’re the key to optimizing the anti-sway bar rotating point."
"They help provide more stability and proper anti-roll characteristics while cornering. They’re machined from solid 6061-T6 billet aluminum."

I love how they make everything sound so hardcore and technical. They are sway bar drops for the love of God!And yes, you need a complete 5 inch front box kit basically if you are going to run a 4.5 inch suspension lift.
Boz is right... longer upper and lower control arms, an upper arm relocation bracket to keep the upper arms level, drop pitman arm, track bar drop bracket, longer shocks, and some sway bar drops, or longer sway bar links.

Hey djgaston, thanks for the info. Your truck is just about what i want mine to look like, i love it. How do those 37's fit with the 4.5 lift? i was thinking about running 35x13.5's but i like that 37 look. As far as the skyjacker lift, all i have is the 2.5 coils right now and im assuming they are the same coils used in your lift, do they add coil spacers to achieve the last 2 inches?

The tires fit fine, but I did cut my air dam off. They rubbed the end of the air dam a little at first.
The coils I have are 4.5 inch coils, not a 2.5 inch coil with a spacer. The "system" I got comes with the coils and a whole new leaf pack, not add-a-leafs, for the rear.
