Just completed 15k oil and fuel filter change
Just successfully changing oil and fuel filter in my truck. Thank you to all that have participated in precious threads about each. The information provided by all of you made it an easy task. The truck sure does run smoother now. Seems to have gotten a little kick from the fuel filter change. That thing ugly!
Again thanks to all,
Mike
Next weekend will be diff and trans fluid replacement. Got the NV5600 trans. Any tips would be appreciated.

Good deal.
The tranny and diff is pretty easy. On the tranny just remove the PTO cover to drain. Inside on the bottom of the transmission is a magnet. Pull it out and clean it and reinstall. Use RTV to seal the cover and dab each of the bolt threads with RTV before installing. Use a 17mm allen to remove the fill hole plug on the driver side of the tranny. Takes about 4.5 qts of an approved NV5600 fluid like Pennzoil Synchromesh. If switching to synthetics Redline MTL and Amsoil MTF is good stuff.
For the rear diff just remove the cover to drain. Reuse the stock rubber gasket and fill up to the bottom of the fill hole with a synthetic 75w-90 or 75w-140. The front diff use 75w-90 and fill to about 1/4" below the fill hole.
