I have noticed a lot of threads on vibrations, and after reviewing them none of them seem to resemble the one that I have developed. This vibration occurs at highway speeds usually between 70 and 75, and I only notice it when I am on the accelerator. When I let off of the accelerator just a little though, it quits. This also occurs with the cruise set. It rattles when the accelerator kicks in and quits when it kicks out. I know it is not the AC, and I am pretty sure based on the sypmtoms that it is not the ID plate on the radiator. This is kind of puzzeling, any suggestions?

 

Interesting. I have a vibration with the cruise on, but only when towing. If I touch the accellerator with my foot, it quits. That has to be the pedal suspension somewhere, but I have not yet found it. Yours is when you have your foot on the pedal. Who knows - - may be the same problem but shows up different on the two trucks.

 

It's the accelerator pedal. I noticed this rattle too when the cruise is set and just touching the pedal with my foot the rattle goes away.

I am pretty sure it is not the pedal, I have noticed that the pedal rattles when the cruise is set, but this is different this is when I am on the accelerator. I listened a little more careful this morning and noticed that it occurs at lower speeds as well. Anywhere from 45-75. It is more prominent the faster that I go, but never the less it is occuring at lower speeds. I am kind of thinking that it is a bearing, but I am hoping that it is just something loose that is attached to the motor.
