Another Vibration Thread

I have an 06 Mega Cab 2500 Diesel, that has a really annoying vibration. It can mainly be felt in the accelerator pedal and in the floor. It feels like an exhaust vibration, but I don't know why it would suddenly appear and why it is getting worse. It is not a driveline vibration, or a wheel bearing or a u-joint. It seems to increase and decrease with acceleration. I can't hear any different noises and everything is functioning normally. Could it be one of the pumps on the engine, my torque converter, a plugged cat ? It also seems to be worse on really hot days. It is really driving me nuts because it is like having a palm sander running under the accelerator pedal. Any thoughts ??

Do you have running boards installed? If not check exhaust system make sure pipe or cat is not hitting cross member.

No running boards and I can't see anything out of the ordinary with the exhaust system. I guess I will have to wait until something grenades or starts making noise so I can find it...

just a thought, have you changed style of shoes your wearing? Maybe something from walk/hiking to a dress or western boot. Also type of insoles.
