Injectors

So the crankcase is getting fuel in it and the injectors have 189,000 on them but truck still runs perfect but starts a little funny. Should i have them tested or just get some new injectors from f1 for 2,100 I miss my 12 valve

Don't think it would be worth getting them tested there is good shop that will test them for 50 an injector and have a buddy that has 5 injectors he is not sure if there good or bad one was spraying he just bought new injectors between all of them I could get 6 good injectors but spend 550 on getting them all tested

It's a catch 22. You def got 1 that's bad, but with as many miles as you got on yours, I'd replace them all, then do as you mentioned. That is have your buddies tested out, then go from there.

When my CC filled with fuel it was not the injector itself. It was a seal someplace that only showed up when they did a high pressure test on the engine. Not really sure what the test was but I know they blocked of the return line to do it.

They are a Bosch Certified facility, $25 to test them & $250 to rebuild. If 1 of them needs rebuilt then they knock off the $25! There are only 3 Certified Bosch test facilities in the US, from what I know & Mass Flow is another one but they can't rebuild them! JL is who does John's (F1).

I changed the oil and took it for a drive and noticed when it starts funny and when I get on it it will puff black smoke once and all the while the engine sounds fine. Im thinking an injector is sticking is there anyway to test it in the truck
