Injector Question Again

I have removed my injectors and i noticed that the bolts that hold them down where not very tight. My service manual shows to 89 ft lbs, there is no way that theese were that tight, I could remove them almost by hand. Could this be the cold hard to start problem??? Also I while pulling the exhuast rocker arm on # 3 the crossmember ( the peice that goes from valve to valve)fell off before i could get to see how it went, it has a small dot on it and i can't tell which way it goes, Can someone maybe give me some insight??

I was worried about the same thing, the little dot. I took a 06 apart to do the head studs and looked at the brigdes and they were all different. They come from the factory all different ways. Wrere the dot is doesn't matter at all.

I think that the injector bolts get somewhat loose after time.

Its 89 inch lbs.

Install fuel injector holdown clamp (mounting flange) bolts. Be sure the clamp is perpendicular to the injector body. Do a preliminary tightening of these bolts to 5 N·m (44 in. lbs.) torque. This preliminary tightening insures the fuel injector is seated and centered.
After tightening, relieve bolt torque, but leave both bolts threaded in place.
Install high-pressure connector and retaining nut. Do a preliminary tightening to 15 N·m (11 ft. lbs.) torque.
Alternately tighten injector holdown bolts to 10 N·m (89 in. lbs.) torque.
Do a final tightening of the high-pressure connector and retaining nut. Tighten to 50 N·m (37 ft. lbs.) torque.
