Alot of us that have had injector problems have a similar scenario. It begins w/ longer and longer starts, then finally it won't turn over at all. Take it in and have them pop tested.

If you have routinely changed your fuel filters and your truck is idling rough and during cold starts blowing excess amounts of blue smoke, you probably have an injector problem...

I have been running the Fleetguard 7 micron and I would LOVE to be running a 5 or even 2 micron system, but you really need to beef up your fuel system with an Air Dog, Fass, GDP, etc in order to do so efficiently. I am checking my options and the bank account the next couple months and will probably be headed in that direction ASAP

The Baldwin PF 7977 is a 5 micron fuel filter that will work with stock lift pumps. Many places still sell the older 10 micron filters even though Cummins has said all 2003 and newer engines should be using a 7 micron or smaller fuel filter. Also some after market filters being sold will not separate water out of your fuel and that's not good for your injectors.
