Angry injector problem-need info

I have a 2004 1/2 2500 quad 4x4 and had an injector go out at 19,000 miles and now another one went out at 26,000 miles. It covered my truck from front to back with diesel fuel. Does anyone know of any recall or TSB on the factory injectors or has anyone else had this problem? The only engine modification I have on my truck is an AFE Intake. Please help!!!!

Injectors being inside the valve cover I can't see it "covering your truck with diesel fuel". Possibly a line or connection at a transfer tube?

The 1st time the injector went out it did the same thing and the dealer said that it has an overflow tube and when running 60mph down the highway thats makes it blow all over the truck. (wind turbulance) I just cannot figure out why the injectors are going out?

It filled the crankcase full of fuel. The injectors themselves failed. They were a fair amount of posts about failed injectors for a while and then not many if any at all.I assume maybe a bad batch of injectors.I would try to get them all changed but I bet you will hit a roadblock on that issue.

injectors going out..

Injector failure in the newer trucks is most often attributed to bad fuel ( contamination, Change filter more frequently) or extended idle times. These trucks don't like to sit in the driveway and warm up. That tends to foul injectors. Get out and drive your truck like it is a rental or stolen!

Or just plain faulty injectors.

Try just plain bad injectors. I lost an injector at 12K. My fuel filter was changed. I used fuel from the same place I filled my last diesel at, and it never had a fuel related problem. It certainly didn't have much idle time on it - 12k miles in 2 1/2 months and most of that was towing 10k. The "too much idle time" is just a pure BS excuse by DC to avoid warranty claims. I also used PS, MMO and Stanadyne PF in the tank. Before you say fuel box the motor is plain stock.

The injectors on the 3rd generation seem to be marginal or at the very least they have a higher failer rate when compared to the earlier engines.
