Injector O-ring question
I have a oil consumption problem, I'm running a consumption test now. I am not sure how much is burning. I changed all the filters, oil, air, fuel & the crankcase vent filter. I pulled the CAC hose off driver side of CAC, it was bone dry, I pulled the rear exhaust housing elbow thing off the back side of turbo, had a few drops (sprinkles) of oil, the down pipe was grey & dry. I warmed the engine and pulled the oil cap and have very little "smoke" or mist type stuff coming out of oil cap hole. I have NO running issues or cranking issues, only thick black smoke on acceleration.
My question is, maybe I've got a bad o-ring on an inj? Can I get oil from the head, past the o-ring and into a cylinder?
Thanks for the help in advance.

It's my pot and I'll stir it if I want to. If you're not careful, I'll stir your's as well!
Would this smoke on acceleration be more evident after slowing down against compression? If so, maybe you have bad valve seals.

Only on acceleration. In 6th gear, you power up, it'll smoke and not clear. I am checking my oil now to see how much I'm using, trying to see if it is excessive, or not. My fuel mileage has not changed. I've only had the truck since last November, it currently has 165xxx miles.
