I had two injectors fail at the same time, then about two weeks later I had a third one go, replaced with OEM bodies and then decided to put 60HP tips on them while they were out at the dealer. Not cheap, could of bought a turbo if I would of done it myself. That was at 100000 miles, could of been the dyed fuel I use, but I do run additives, either Lucas or Redline. Also just wanted to say Hi and thx to everyone for all the great info.

Now another question is whose injectors are failing? Are the stock trucks failing or is a failure more likely in BOMBed trucks? Especially those trucks with pressure boxes? What about folks that run additives? Are there more failures with folks that run additives or not?

Here is a thread for example:

One stock injector at 97.5k miles. Failed closed, not open. Big difference.
