I have and 06 cummins with the 5.9 engine. I want to get the best milage possible. Im not to worried about adding horsepower and torque as much as adding mileage. What would be the best chip to install on my ram? Also what other products will get me better mileage? I know a cold air intake, exhaust, and injectors will add mileage but which products add the most? I do have my tires properly inflated and I do watch how I drive to increase mileage but I am looking for products like exhaust and chip and what will I gain.

 

Well, your other post kinda went off topic and I'm sure that I didn't help it out any, but in my opinion I got the best bump in mileage programmer/module wise from my Smarty Jr. on economy setting.

the smarty jr did the most . bob williams talked us into trying tow when i called back to order two more , it gave about 0.2 mpg more and i like it even better

Keep yer speed below 72 or so on the highway and drive it easy in town, all the mod's i've added or seen dont get you that much MPG gain. for real good milage go with a KIA 3 or 4 banger.
