Check all the battery connections, & battery condition. I've seen similar issues with bad connections.

Are you sure you batteries are charged up? The computer uses juice even when the truck is off, and after a month most batteries are totally discharged because of this parasitic current.

Some immobilizers interrupt more than one circuit on the vehicle. Is it possible that an ECM-related circuit is still being disabled and you need to add another jumper?

k so heres the deal, using a jumper in the imobiliser plug i get dash lit up fuel pump running but still no power to the dlc so i cannot read/scan for codes or clear them. This is really bugggin me i got a prettty expensive pile of scrap here now, so how do i find out why there is no power to the dlc ?? is this the work of the imobiliser as well the scanner doesnt get power and the ignition can be off and everytthing is still a go because of the jumper in the imobiliser plug. What can i do here guys dealership is 2 hrs way plus dont like them , or what they do any suggestions are welcome and appreciated , tried unhookin bats for an hour, charge is good in them, what am i missing all fuses and grounds are good far as i can tell, i do believe one of my tires are locked up a sticky abs or something wouldnt cause this would it ??
HELP PLEASE

Sounds like you need a shop manual. With that you could run power to the pins in the ecm to power, & wake it up, etc. & run codes. Otherwise, I'm afraid you're SOL. Sorry. I have the manuals for the cummins engines, but they aren't the same as the Dodge so I can't help more than that.

Only the 07+ trucks have a chiped key as far as I know. My 04.5 definitly has no chip. Also, my friends 07 has the chip, & with an aftermarket key with no chip, the truck started, & runs for about 10sec., & dies.
Your issues could be caused by the ign. switch tho.
