with the module on the center console for over a week and a half, it has not done it again. i have driven like a grandma, abused it, drove normally, but it wont do it anymore. I had a thought. i have mounted the race box above the whoa peddle double side taped to the installed computer module there. i mounted the old standard box up into the steering column plastic, with the race the harness didnt reach into the same area because of the tps wire. dont need the tps anymore so up in there it goes. the standard never did this, only the race. the idea is EMI. that is the only thing i can come up with. Called jeremy yesterday, he said it shouldnt be a problem, but to remount it under the dash away from anything and try it some more.

 

same thing after reflash, 2 weeks of perfection, then turned bad, unplugged tps wire, 2 weeks of fun, the bad again. now it is fine. I dont understand but I will continue to try things as long as quad continues to respond and give ideas. i can be patient for a good product and service

 

I wonder if inlet pressure to the cp3 is dropping when it happens like superduty said. If there was an intermittent fault in the wiring supplying power to the lift pump, you could maybe have something like that.

 

i put on the bd lift pump kit 2 months ago, I can hear it running at all times except WOT, including when it acts up. i dont believe that the lp is getting intermittent voltage/power problems.

 

Had the same thing happen at 1000 miles took it in and injector was sticking due to engine loaded up . Lots of idle time and driving with a light foot...
