I want some smoke!!

My buddy has an 05 H.O. he left with me for a couple weeks while hes out of town. I promised him some smoke when he gets back. But i cant put my powerpup in an 05 and cant turn the injector pumps up. Hes new to the diesel world and he just wants to see some smoke so is there an easy way or a trick to make a stock 05 smoke or am i S.O.L.

Probably block the air box some, no air + all fuel = smoke, don't know how safe it is, but it should give you smoke.

Stand on your brake and then rev it up in drive, when the rear tires start to break loose slowly let the pressure off your brake peddle untill the smoke is so thik you and your buddy can't see each other. As far as getting the engine to smoke...don't.... it is silly and just a waste of fuel.

But in all seriousness what is the point in making your truck smoke? Am I wrong in stateing that it is un burned fuel being sent out the exhaust?

I think it's in a sense inefficency of the engine. If everything is tuned up right, i.e right size turbo, injectors, ect. Your truck shouldn't smoke that bad.

I know in my case, my truck will throw thick black clouds out, the stock turbo just can't clear it all up.
