I got a problem

When I push the clutch in and put it in neutral, my RPMs come down and then jump up several times. Sometimes it is just 100 RPM while other times it jumps up about 500 RPMs. I have no idea what is causing this. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

It's not uncommon to have a little rpm hunting right after pushing in the clutch, but 500 rpms is excessive. First thing I would do is remove the Quadzilla box and see if the issue still occurs.

There is a switch that detects when the clutch pedal is depressed. If this switch is malfunctioning or "bouncing" in some way it may cause the behavior you are experiencing.

If your truck does this in neutral when the vehicle is stopped you could:
1. locate the switch
2. manually open/close it with your hand to see if this behavior is caused by the switch.

The switch is typically located on the arm of the clutch pedal underneath the dash.

Good luck.

Thanks for the help. Now that you mention it, I have been having problems with the switch on the clutch arm. Sometimes it doesn't want to start if the clutch is pressed all the way to the floorboard, I have to let it out a little sometimes for it to start. I reckon that is the problem. I tried undoing the wiring harness going into the clutch arm so I could start it without depressing the clutch, but then it wouldn't start at all. What do yall reckon I should do? Is this a serious problem? Thanks again for the help.
