i did a search and did not find much info on how a HTS transmission shifts. Is it real harsh, stock or somewhere in between?

 

Dusty set mine up to shift not so soft...its set up for towing. That being said, when its empty and I get on it, it'll get sideways when it hits second. But when I have a load behind it, it shifts nice and smooth. You can't go wrong with an HTS.

 

i plan on going with there trans, but dont want it to shift so hard that it shake my fillings loose, or more importantly annoys the wife.

 

That's the beauty of the after market trannys. the shifting/pressures can be custom set! Just be clear on what you want and how you will use it.... HTS can do the rest!
Love my DTT but have heard nothing but good stuff about HTS !

Strongly recomend HTS transmission, Dusty will work with you and he backs his work up. i have 30 thousand miles on mine and it is still as strong as the day it was new. It does shift very hard from first to second but im sure he would work with you on a solution. Strongly recomended though.
