I have an '05 with the plastic intercooler and was wondering what is involved in replacing it if it fails. Is this a do it yoursef project?

Thanks

I did mine myself. It was a very easy install.

Details please.

Did you have any problem with the AC condenser? It looks like 4 bolts to remove the condenser and 2 bolts for the intercooler and loosen or remove the IC boots. But is there enough room to swing the condenser out of the way to get the IC out or is there more to remove?

Thanks

While you've got all that loose, you might want to consider lowering the condenser to give most of the new intercooler first crack at the incoming air.

It's a fairly simple mod that'll add an hour to your labor.
