how many miles on synthetic

I just picked up some Shell Rotella T6 5w-40 synthetic oil and was wondering how many kms I could put on between oil changes? Can I go to 15,000kms if I change the filter at 7,500kms or is that too long? I have never used synthetic engine oil so would like some advice.

Stock you can go a bit longer. Modded, it is much shorter. The best way to find out is by getting an oil analysis done. Blackstone is your friend in that department.

I went 18k on semisynthetic and the full flow with my mods and the UOA was great. Craig

Use oil analysis to walk out your intervals.

You can put as many miles as you like on your oil, the truth is the more often you change your oil the more miles you will get out of you truck. that is the important part.
