well i pick up my new 06 tomorrow and want to throw a straight exhaust on it for now until i can afford to put a 5" TB on it. how long should i wait and has anyone had problems with this? i have many buddies running straight on their CTD's w/no probs and on my 05's i have straights but did it when they had around 30k on them.

I am new to this board, so cut me some slack. Just be glad i switched from a 6.0 and from TDS.com to here. haha!

If you don't have a good set of glove I recommend you wait long enough for the pipes to cool then start cutting!

Dido on that previous post. Mine went a little long with the muffler on it for my taste. It some how made it to 258 miles before I cut it off
