How does one tighten the belt

The serp. belt seems a little loose after 45K miles. I looked for any adjustment on the accessories but no love. 2004.5 CTD.

No adjustment needed to it, spring loaded idler pully. Check under the hood for your belt routing tag , it will show it to you there.

If the belt is loose, you may need to relace the tensioner....all serpentine belts have a spring loaded tensioner....
