Angry How Common is this

On my way home last night from Baltimore South on Hwy 95 1 am In Dunn NC
and I lost all fuel pressure. Coasted into a truck stop and found a cracked metal fuel line from the pump to #3. The local dealer had 3 on hand.
That makes me believe this is common... but I have not read about it here.
I am asking because this could have been very serious and do I need to change the others? Is it just #3? It cracked under the metal ferrell and diesel went everywhere. What a mess.

Not very common but it does happen. The notorious one is #6 on the older 03-04.5 trucks. It does not have the upgraded line with support that the 05's and newer do.

I have a friend that keeps cracking #3 , he took his Diablo puck off and it hasnt did it since. Not sure if that was the problem or coincidence.

Is probablly good ideal to occasinally check the clamps on inj. lines and make sure not moving or loose. Feel for vib while ideling also. If the lines can move they are going to fail..........
