High Rpm

Why does a six speed 2006 Dodge run such a high RPM no matter it being a 3.73 or 4.10, my buddy said it is because the transmission can't handle the isHP/TQ, is this true?

The g56's are geared higher than the autos. I dont know were your buddy is getting his info from, this tranny can hold as much HP/TQ that you can put to it with a beefed up clutch. It is a very stout tranny...

I'm running 2000 rpms @ 67mph, NV5600, 4.10s and 315s. Verified by GPS. I'd like it to be lower for unloaded cruising, but towing is GREAT.
