Hi-Pressure at Fuel Filter

May be a silly question, but is high pressure present at the fuel filter? When I unscrew the cap, will I get a spray of fuel because of it? I think I know the answer but just want to be certain before I change the filter. Thanks for your replies.

It is low pressure until the fuel gets to the Injection pump.

Just drain some fuel into a bottle with the yellow water seperator valve and long clear vinyl hose. It will release the pressure and help you make a very small mess.
