I am haveing heck with my dealership trying to put a new injection pump on my truck. My truck rattles like a SICK 12V, they say it has to be DEAD before they will change it. Any body had the same problem w/ the dealership or with their truck?

 

You don't have an "injection pump", only a high pressure pump that keeps the fuel rail pressurized. You have electronic injectors. I highly doubt the pump is the cause of your rattle.

 

I remember the old days when you wanted the to rattle. The louder they were the better they ran and the fuel economy was better too.
