Came out to my truck today after work and there was a half a quart of power steering fluid on the ground, never leaked a day ever, Does anyone know if you can get a new seal kit, or do you have to replace the whole thing? where they most likely leak from? has anyone else had this problem? Fluid is everywhere and can't really even tell its coming from the pump just assuming. Thanks for the help!

 

Check the high pressure lines going to the brake booster. They have been known to be an issue from time to time.

 

Mine is making noise (ps pump) when you turn or brake hard, no leaks and it's full of fluid. So i called the dealer and they claim that's is not very common for our ps pumps to go out but the lines have been known to fail....

 

i think mine is coming out of the tank, but it is making funny noises too, and its full, might be time to replace the whole thing.

 

May be the cap leaking. Try replacing fluid with Valvoine Blue PS. Fluid allows pump to cavitate. Pumps air into hoses, fluild comes out cap.

 

yeah i noticed my cap was really pressureized(I don't think that is a word) and it popped when i took the cap off...
