Hi, I am about to change my fuel filter and was wondering if I can or if anybody has, put powerservice directly into the fuel filter canister before starting up the truck? Any thing I need to do or is it safe to give it a complete shot of pure powerservice? maybe only fill it half way and let the rest fill up with diesel during prime?

Ok, scratch that idea. I just got off the phone with Power Service and they recommended against the idea.

 

I would have guessed to NOT do it, but what was thier reason for not doing it??

 

The tech said because of the cetene boost, it would be too much for a straight shot.

I asked this because I know a lot of people do this with the SeaFoam stuff and it even says so on the directions, but after the whole thread a while ago about it containing alchol I didn't wanna try it
