I'm calling Bogus as well, why would they care where the Injectors come from, they have already denied your Warranty.

I would also demand they tell you what brand "programmer" software they found.

 

I picked it up this morning. They did not know which programmer it was. They said the warranty was not voided, but "Chrysler declined to assist in THIS repair". If I had them replace it the replacement would be warranted if it was damaged. I explained "Yes, but EVERYTHING that happens from now on Chrysler will say "Back in 2009 we show there was a programmer on it so this repair won't be covered either." They assured me that was not the case and they WOULD put it in writing.

I asked if I had it replaced somewhere else, then had then reflash to factory specs if Chrysler warranty would be in effect. They said on everything, but the injector(s). I understand that, but can see them saying "That injector causedX problem, so it won't be covered."

I guess I am shafted either way, but leaning toward having all 6 upgraded to 65 or 90's from F1. I highly doubt they will warranty anything in the future. I did mention to the GM of the dealership that "What if I have it replaced by them and 2 weeks later another one goes out." Be fore I could finish he said "Ya I talked to the district rep and he said the same thing", So they are already setting it up to deny them too.

As far as me not getting the programmer when I purchased the truck. I bought it from an independent dealer who bought the truck from Chrysler Financial. It was either a repo or lease truck. Therefore, the programmer did not come with it.

I would add a 2 micron auxillary fuel filter right away, bet anything it wasn't the programmer........
