I'm the one that had the "Oh Crap" thread.Cummins is rebuilding my engine. Back in '03 and about 10,000 miles I bought a banks 6 gun and ran it on my truck for about a month.I became worried over warranty issues so I took it off and sold it.Cummins like I said is rebuilding my engine for free, but they want to take it to Dodge when they are done to have a printout made from the ecm to see if it has had any performance mods done.If so they may have to "reevaluate" weather it's free to me or not I guess. My question is did the 6 gun leave a footprint or anything in the ecm? That was 100,000 miles ago.

I talked to the banks tech this morning. He told me their tuners do not leave anything in the computer. He said remember this tuners do not leave stuff in the computers because they are downstream from the ecm.But programmers definately will because they talk directly to the ecm.
