Unhappy Help 2007 in shop for two weeks!

Posted in the help forum but got no help.
My 07 with 1500 miles on it has been at the dealer for two weeks and they are having trouble fixing the problem's. The biggest problem is when i press the brake pedal or turn the steering while in park or at low speeds I get a vibration or growl though the brake pedal and the sterring wheel. The next problem is a the engine seems to be tapping/clattering more than it was when new. Also at 60mph the truck vibrates all over. Any help or info would be appriciated.

It sounds like you may have a problem with the P/S pump or the hydro boost brake booster.
No idea on the engine noise...
Did all these things start at the same time?

Yes it all started about the same time. The motor just seems to be getting louder than it was when I first got it.

Insist that they give you another truck!

I would be hard pressed to keep a new truck that has that many problems.

Don't give in. Tell them that two weeks is the same as having to bring it in multiple times for multiple problems.

Have a sit down with the service manager and owner/general manager. I hate to say it, but my experience is that most dealer/service depts will do no more then you push them in to.

As a side note, every time I buy a new car or tuck, and that has been many, I'll be sure to use a salesperson that has been there for awhile, and sit with him and the sales manager and make it understood that if I have a problem with service, they will also be involved. Sadly, it has come to this a couple of times, but it did help resolve the problems.

That will never happen. They fix it on DCs dime before coughing up there own dough to replace it.

Did this start after the lift with bigger tires were installed? Until you eliminate the potential of the lift kit and tires causing the frontend and vibration concerns, Dodge will most likely not be too interested in fixing your problem. That is, unless, you give the the go ahead to find and fix the problem regardless of warranty. Dodge will not pay the dealer and ultimately the tech if the problem was caused by the mods.

As far as the engine noise, I think they get noisier during break-in. Mine has and I'm not concerned at all.
