Hard Starts
Hard Starts
my truck has been starting very hard, sometimes taking almost a minute of cranking before it catches and starts. I took it in and the dealer says that they think it maybe a bad injector, because the injector won't build the proper pressure for the truck to start. they think that it is just returning the fuel back to the tank. Does anyone have any ideas on what it maybe other than the injector theory? I told them to check the lift pump but they dont see to think so. The fuel filter was just changed and the problem still exists. Also is there anything that I should have them check out, or anything that could be dammaged as a result of all this. Good thing I only have 80,000 mi on the truck so it all should be warranted. Truck goes in wednesday for the full diagnosis.
