Hard start

Hard start

07 cummins 3500 turns over loke its out of time. Kicks the starter out just before it fires .codes were crankshaft sensor/replaced it with new, cleared codes tried again same thing now codes read crankshaft and cam sensor /cleared codes tried again now shows code p2509 intermittent ecm power . Pulled air box over gave a small shot of starting fluid truck started and runs fine no noises nothing .shut it off and back to square one

Don't use starting fluid...the intake grid heaters can ignite it in the intake and bad things can happen.

Thanks for the info larry . I am aware of various problems using starting fluid on these types of pre-heaters I should have mentioned I cycled the heater 5or 6 times before using the starting fluid,lessening the possibility of preheater xplosion .still. I know this is not totally fail safe
