Hard to get in Reverse and Second

I have a 06 6 speed and it has become very difficult to get into gear when I am setting stopped. With the engine not running it goes in very easy. The truck has 98000 miles and am told the stock hydo clutch should be getting weak. There is no leaking that I can see but I know the main unit can by-pass internally. Is there a way to check this problem or should I just install a South Bend Hyd-x-750 and hope for the best.

Since it goes into gear easliy when not running, I'd suspect the clutch is dragging?

What is the repair for a dragging clutch? Or what would cause a dragging clutch?
