after driving to get 4 different types of filter wrenchs the one i had at my house worked when i tried it after the 4 new ones!

i noticed the dealer oil was black while the shell rotella t was a nice brown. cheap oil at the dealer i guess?

 

No, I would think they're using a pretty decent oil at the dealer. Just different brands with a slightly different additive package.

well i got done with the only change. i dumped about .75 qts in the filter and the other 11.25 qts into the motor and i am right above the safe zone, so it is safe to say it was overfilled by the dealer.

i feel much better now!
