Just trying to help a guy at work with a broke engine. Needs a used 7.3 Ford or a set of oversize pistons. Anyone know any links or where to find a good used engine? His is a 99 superduty all stock. Thanks in advance. He says he'll get it running and sell it for a cummins, we'll see.

 

Has he talked with local international truck stores? last time i checked my local dealer in Alaska had one. Selling it for $5K, pretty good deal. Of course, that is with the core exchange. Got another bud in Alaska with a block sitting around in his garage. It's in Alaska, so it would be pricey to send it and I have no idea what he wants for it. But i'll ask if he's really interested. Also, go to the www.Dieselstop.com, the Ford site. I am sure there are people over there selling them...
