change oil. hook to a trailer and take it for a haul. get it nice and hot and then try again. getting the gassers hot works on them but this diesel stuff with e-tests is new territory for everyone.

The oil only has about 1500 miles on it and I towed gooseneck this past Friday, sat. and Sunday with weights ranging from 4000-10000 lbs. Maybe I'll try the B20 first and then go with the oil change.

If your truck isn't smoking, the Jr will only raise the PPM

That still have the Cat Converter on it?

What was the test proceddure? Was it a snap test, laying the accelerator on the floor with no load?

10% opacity is pretty low. If I remeber right (the last time I failed) here in Washington the minimal limit was 40%.

Heh

The tree huggers are going crazy here (Jorsey). . . We don't have a Diesel Sniff here either. They just look with a mirror to see if you have the hardware installed

I swear, I am the only one in these parts that has a modded 6.7

They plug in under my dash under the steering wheel and then put something in the exhaust. It's ridiculous and I'm convinced it's all about $, just another way to collect revenue for the corrupt gov.

Sounds different then the snap test done in California. With them using an opacity sensor, this is even worse than California, no subjectivity involved...

Pretty sure it was an 04. Maybe it was borderline. I sold it 3 years ago for my 08. Put it out of my mind
