Grinding Brakes

What is a good brand of brake pads? I replaced the factory front pads at around 50000 miles, I got the top-of the line pads from Carquest. Truck stops on a dime everything was great until 10000 miles later, brakes grinding again. I checked the pads, plenty of friction materail. I figured must be something in the pads got them replaced under warrenty. Now 7000 miles later the grinding is back. It so bad you would swear its metal to metal. The brake pads have plenty of meat left, the rotors are good with no pulse. ***? Dont really want to get another set of Carquest pads, it getting old changing them every 6 months. Anybody else in readerland have this problem?

Use 120 grit sandpaper on a sanding disc to resurface the rotors.
