GREEN OIL
GREEN OIL
I first would like to say thanks to everyone on this site. I've been hanging around for a few months and have learned a bunch including the deadly KDP. Thanks to Harold at H+E I got a jig kit and tomorrow the KDP on my Dad's 95 is gonna be killed!!! Anyway here is my question I just did my first oil change on my 03 HO at 3500 miles and the oil came out with a puke
green tint to it. I've heard alot of people talking about breakin oil and I assume thats the reason for the tint but I have also heard people say that there is not any special oil used for breakin. Or could it just be the oil that is used by dodge at the assembly plant.

Re:GREEN OIL
Mine was the same. Oil analysis came back perfect after 12k (first oil change) so it obviously is good oil. No fuel, coolant or water in the oil (0%) so again no need to worry that it is contaminated. I don't know why it is greenish. HTH
