Genuine Mopar fuel filter.............
Was just about to turn 10,000 on my new 5.9. Went to the dealer and asked him for a fuel filter. I was talking to one of the other parts guys that I had bought several $$ worth of exhaust tips, fender well liners etc. from. The other guy sat it on the counter and gave the price. Seems like he said it was something like $30-$40. I said you must be kidding, he said no, that it was a genuine Mopar part. I told him nicely to put it back on the shelf, that I would check elswhere for the part. I bought the 4 oil filter,2 fuel filter,1 air filter kit from Geno's made by Fleetguard.
So guess what, the filter that I took out of the Fleetguard filter holder was a Fleetguard stratopore filter just like I bought from Geno's. Who would have thought?

fleetguard also makes the cummins engine "mopar" oil filters... just painted blue and not white [they are regular celeulose, not stratapore though iirc]
