general newb quest.

How can I check my engine hours? I know it's somthing with the reset sw/ and key.

How can I check for error codes? Isn't it something like turn key front 3 times?

If I change my own oil w/ rotella or some other good one, and initial the warranty log book, will they honor it? How about my fuel filter and diff fluid? Or should I ask a Dodge dealer? Thanks, these have been buggin me.

Click here for engine hour procedure

I always do my own maintenance, just make sure you keep all receipts (oils, filters etc..) and document the mileage and dates , i use a log book for this.

To check the codes do this:

Turn the key on. (without startiing).
Turn the key off.
Turn the key on.
Turn the key off.
Turn the key on and leave on.

The codes (if any) should appear on the odometer.
