I think stock was 3.73, optional was 4.10.

Contact Dodge through their web site. Send them the VIN, and they'll send back a build sheet. Only takes a day or two.

There's usually a sticker in the glove box or under the hood that tells you what options you have.

Put the rear axle up on jack stands. Count how many times the drive shaft rotates for each full turn of the tire/wheel. For example, if the drive shaft turns 3 and 1/2 times, the ratio is 3.50:1.

Front ratio should be the same as rear.

If there is no listing for gear ratio in the glove box, its a 3.73.

Some dealers will run the moroney (sp?) for you, based on the vin. No $$.

Sometimes the gear ratio paper sticker is still in the diff axle tube.

if all else fails set it the rear axle up on jackstands, mark the rear tire with chalk. Next count the # of rotations of the rear driveshaft to get the rear tire to spin once.

it will be 3.73 or 4.10 to one rotation of the rear tire.

Thanks for the replys,,
No decal on the truck.. I called local dealer & they ran the Vin .. Stated it was a 373 gear.. I went to dodge.com & couldn't find anything on the site about ordering a build sheet... I entered the vin & all they gave me was rescent history to the dealer about the front end recall

Go to the main site. At the bottom click on "Contact Us". Use the Customer Assistance link, and send them an e-mail.
